Schneider & Schnur Return To NCAA Championship

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Hot on the heels of earning a bid to the NCAA team championship set to begin May 8 in Chapel Hill, the University of North Carolina men's tennis team has earned a pair of singles invitations as well.
For the second straight year, sophomores Ronnie Schneider and Brayden Schnur will play for the singles championship. Both have been ranked in the Top 25 of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association singles rankings.
The singles championship will be played at Waco, Texas beginning May 20 with Baylor University as host.
Schnur, the fall ITA indoor singles champion, is seeded 9-16 in the field of 64. Both were at-large selections to the tournament field.
UNC will host a regional team championship at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center May 8 and 9 with the other teams competing including Mississippi State, William & Mary and Denver. Find complete details on the regional tournament here.
