UNC Remains No. 2 In the Nation

The Tar Heels won two road contests against ranked ACC foes in Florida State and No. 17 Miami.
North Carolina (23-0, 11-0 ACC) leads five ACC clubs ranked in the top 25. No. 12 Virginia visits Chapel Hill this Friday for a key 3 p.m. league battle at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.
On Wednesday, April 15, UNC will host No. 22 Duke in the final regular season home match of 2015 at 3 p.m.
In the latest singles rankings released on Tuesday, North Carolina boasts all six of its regular starters in the top 125.
Sophomore Jamie Loeb moved up to No. 6 as she rides an 11-match winning streak and owns a 21-3 overall record and a 11-0 mark against the ACC.
Fellow sophomore Hayley Carter is up to No. 14, equalling her best ranking this spring. She is 9-1 in league play and is 27-6 overall.
Senior Caroline Price checks in at No. 19. She leads the team in wins with a 32-5 record and is 10-1 versus the ACC.
Whitney Kay and Ashley Dai are 93rd and 105th, respectively, while Kate Vialle re-enters the rankings this week at No. 120 thanks to winning her last seven matches.
In doubles, Loeb and Price jumped forward seven spots to No. 6 in the nation. The duo has compiled a 19-2 overall record and an 8-1 mark against the ACC.
Kay and Carter is No. 21 this week. They have won 17-straight matches and are 20-1 on the year, 8-0 in the ACC. Dai and Vialle, No. 49 in doubles this week, is 20-9 this season.
