Women’s Tennis Cruises Past UNCG, 4-0

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – No. 3 University of North Carolina women's tennis cruised to a 4-0 victory over UNCG Thursday afternoon at Chewning Tennis Center.
The Tar Heels quickly earned the doubles point as Tatum Evans and Alanis Hamilton led the way with a 6-0 win on court one. Theadora Rabman and Anna Frey were partnered together for the first time this season and clinched the doubles point for Carolina with a 6-1 win.
In singles, each win came in straight sets. No. 7 Oby Kajuru finished first topping Lauren Thomson from UNCG on court two. No. 18 Tatum Evans played in the ones position for just the second time this season and gave UNC their second singles win of the day. Claire Hill eventually clinched the match for Carolina with a dominant 6-0 straight-set win over her Spartan opponent.
