Three Tar Heels In Contention At Fuccillo Kia Championship

ALBANY, N.Y. – Three former University of North Carolina golfers shot in the 60s today at the Fuccillo Kia Championship on Saturday. Casey Grice, Katherine Perry and Catherine O'Donnell are competing in the Symetra Tour tournament this weekend.
Grice shot a 69 in her second round of the Fuccillo Kia Championship. Grice went birdie-bogey-birdie-bogey on her first four holes of the day, but birdied two hole on the back nine to get to 2-under for the day and 6-under 136 for the tournament. Grice is expected to finish the day tied for fourth and four strokes behind the leader.
Perry jumped from a tie for 42nd to tied for 10th today after an exquisite second round. Perry had six birdies and just one bogey. Perry had a five-hole stretch where she went 3-under. She finished the day at 5-under 66, 137 for the tournament, and will most likely remain in the top 15 after the competition ends today.
O'Donnell shot a 3-under 68 today to move up on the leaderboard. O'Donnell had four birdies and one bogey on the day. She's 4-under for the tournament and will end the day in the top 20.

Current UNC women's golfer Leslie Cloots concluded her competition today at the 2015 Ladies International European Amateur Championship today. Cloots shot a 1-over 73 in her final round with three birdies and four bogeys. Her 1-over-par round brings her tournament score to 2-over 290. She finished the championship tied for 41st.
