Countdown To Kickoff: Week 1

CHAPEL HILL—As Tar Heel fans everywhere count down the days to the 2015 season opener on September 3 in Charlotte against South Carolina, GoHeels.com is satisfying its football itch with the Countdown to Kickoff campaign.
Last November 20, the Tar Heels put together what Larry Fedora called a "complete game" in routing Duke, 45-20, in Durham before a Thursday night national TV audience.
Marquise Williams accounted for four touchdowns and threw for 276 yards to lead the offense, which scored three touchdowns off Duke turnovers. Carolina totaled 591 total yards, including 315 by a pulverizing ground attack.
For a limited time through Saturday, both the full game replay and condensed game clips (normally premium items for GoHeels TV subscribers) for the win over the Blue Devils will be free. We'll unveil a new Countdown to Kickoff game each week until the season opener in Charlotte.
