Heels Silence 'Chants In Exhibition Finale

CONWAY, S.C. - No. 5 North Carolina completed a perfect exhibition men's soccer season with a 2-0 victory at 21st-ranked Coastal Carolina on Saturday night.
Carolina scored both its goals in the late stages of the match. Coastal was called for a four inside the 18-yard box, setting up a Tar Heel penalty kick, and for the second-straight match Raby George sent his shot successfully into the back of the net for a 1-0 lead in the 74th minute.
Sophomore forward Zach Wright scored with three minutes remaining to give Carolina a little breathing room in the 87th minute.
Carolina kicks off the 2015 season by hosting the Carolina Nike Classic next weekend at Fetzer Field. First up is FIU on Friday at 7 p.m., followed by Santa Clara on Sunday at 7 p.m.
