ACADEMICSThree Tar Heels Named to Senior CLASS Award lists
Candidates are seniors who excel athletically, academically and in community service. UNC and Stanford are the only schools to have a candidate on each of the three fall sports lists (men's soccer, women's soccer, volleyball).

Academic Support Program Launches New Website
The University of North Carolina's Academic Support Program for Student-Athletes has launched a new website, aspsa.unc.edu. The site offers a wide range of information on the ASPSA's comprehensive programing.
Men's Golf Earns Academic Honor from Coaches' Association
The University of North Carolina men's golf team is one of eight Atlantic Coast Conference schools to earn All-Academic team status from the Golf Coaches Association of America for having a team grade point average of 3.0 or better for the 2014-15 season.
Hayley Carter Named ITA Scholar Athlete
The UNC junior is a standout academically and athletically.
Total of 339 Tar Heels Named to ACC Academic Honor Roll
The ACC recognized a record 4,143 student-athletes for grade point averages of 3.0 or better.
TAR HEEL TRAVELERS
Alexis Amato and Lexi Walters, both from the rowing team, participated in the Coach for College program in Vietnam over the summer.

Tar Heels Take Part in NCAA and ACC Leadership Meetings
Joel James and Paige Neuenfeldt participated in leadership meetings at the conference and national levels over the summer.
Tar Heel Transfers Program Enhances Campus Welcome
Each semester, transfers join the Tar Heel family and with them in mind, UNC Student-Development has created a new program, Tar Heel Transfers. The effort launched on Aug. 25, with eight transfer students participating in the first event. The evening included a barbeque dinner and education about UNC and the Tar Heel state.
