Blue Edges Navy 5-4 On Sunday

Chapel Hill, N.C. -- The Blue squad scored four runs in the bottom of the second inning on the way to a 5-4 win over Navy on Sunday afternoon at Boshame Stadium.
Blue scored their first three runs on a walk, wild pitch and passed ball with the bases loaded before Cole Gibbs's RBI double made it 4-0. Navy scored two runs in the fifth on Brendan Illies's RBI single and Eli Sutherland's sacrifice fly.
Adam Pate's sacrifice fly gave Blue a 5-2 lead in the sixth. Navy scored two in the seventh on another Illies's RBI single and a wild pitch.
Hansen Butler and Jordan Gubelman were the starters, with Chris McCue and Taylor Sugg throwing in relief.
The Tar Heels will hold their next scrimmage on Monday.
