Rashad, Thomason Selected For Tropic Bowl

A third-team All-ACC selection as a senior, Rashad finished his final season in Chapel Hill with 126 tackles, including a team-high 8.5 tackles for loss. The Jacksonville, Florida, native also led the team with three forced fumbles and added a pair of interceptions.
A consistent starter on the UNC defensive line, Thomason had 42 tackles and 3.5 sacks as a senior. A product of McDonough, Georgia, Thomason was sixth on the team with 4.5 tackles for loss.
The Tropic Bowl roster is unique in that it gives the NFL scouts a chance to view and get to know some of the best college football players from the top schools in the country. NFL Films distributes the game film directly to all 32 NFL teams using their own electronic distribution system. The NFL scouting statistic office also reviews the Tropic Bowl game film for statistical analysis.
This year the Tropic Bowl National Team will be head coached by award winning 18 year NFL veteran Coach Mike Stock formerly of the Green Bay Packers while the American Team will be head coached by experienced NFL coach Bill Khayat who has coached for the Arizona Cardinals and Washington Redskins.
