Rams Club Third Annual National Signing Day Call-A-Thon

AN EXCITING INITIATIVE FOR UNC FAN DEVELOPMENT
Chapel Hill, NC –Signing Day has become a national phenomenon, an unofficial holiday for college football fans and media, as the future stars of the game officially commit to spending their academic and athletic careers at their respective colleges and universities. For the third year in a row, the Rams Club seeks to capitalize on the fanfare by hosting the annual National Signing Day Call-A-Thon at Kenan Stadium in an effort to engage with current and prospective Carolina Football season ticket holders.
The National Signing Day Call-A-Thon will feature loyal Tar Heel football supporters from across the state who will meet at Kenan Stadium from 8:30 am-4:30 pm to take part in an exciting season ticket sales initiative. The goal of this event is to fill Kenan Stadium when the Tar Heels return to the field for the 2016 campaign. These Tar Heel fans will reach out to UNC football supporters to purchase or renew season tickets for the 2016 season, as well as thank the fans who have already renewed.
The event, which began in 2014, has been a tremendous success in each of the last two years and the Rams Club's Fan Development staff anticipates that it will grow even further in 2016. The Carolina football program is coming off of one of the best seasons in school history. The achievements of the 2015 Tar Heels were many: ACC Coastal Division Champions, winners of 11 consecutive games, state champions by virtue of an unbeaten slate against in-state opponents and an undefeated 7-0 record at Kenan Stadium.
The UNC Fan Development Team plans to capitalize on the new season ticket options, and an outstanding list of new Season Ticket Holder Benefits. “This past season was outstanding and our fans are hungry for more successful Carolina Football this upcoming season,” says Brian Chacos, former Tar Heel Offensive Lineman and current Director of Sales and Fan Development. “After the success that Coach Fedora and the young men had last year, this is the perfect time to get on board, support this program and lock in your seats for 2016!”
