Grice Shoots 3-Over in LPGA Debut

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Casey Grice made her LPGA debut at the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic on Thursday posting a 3-over-par 76 in the first round. Grice is tied for 87th overall.

Grice double-bogeyed the fourth hole, but gained a stroke back on No. 6 with a birdie. Nine holes later, Grice was at 4-over-par before sinking another birdie to get to 3-over. A bogey on the next hole and then birdie after kept Grice at 3-over-par on the day.

The Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic is being played at the Ocean Club Golf Course on Paradise Island. The course features a par-73, 6,625-yard layout and the tournament has a $1,400,000 purse. GoHeels.com will continue to track Grice's performance throughout the tournament.
