Watts knocked down five three-pointers giving her 72 for the season, the eighth most in a season at North Carolina. Also, Jamie Cherry was 2-for-2 from the free throw line and has now made 159 this season, tied for fifth most ever for the Tar Heels.
Before the game, North Carolina honored its eight seniors - N'Dea Bryant, Anne Corrigan, Erika Johnson, Xylina McDaniel, Rachel McGirt, Paige Neuenfeldt, Marissa Riley and Hillary Summers.
Walk-on players Corrigan and McGirt made their first career start for the Tar Heels in their final home game. McDaniel was also given a commemorative ball for scoring her 1,000th career point earlier in the season in a win over USC Upstate on Dec. 16.
