Blue Wins Saturday's Scrimmage

Chapel Hill, NC -- The Blue squad jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning and cruised to a 6-1 win over Navy in a nine-inning scrimmage on Saturday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium.
Tyler Lynn's double to right drove in the first run in the first, then a Kyle Datres single to right drove in the second run. Tyler Ramirez followed with a massive two-run homer to right center for a 4-0 Blue lead.
Navy got its only run in the fourth when Cole Gibbs drove in a run on a ground out. Blue got their last two runs in the seventh on back-to-back bases-loaded walks to Tyler Lynn and Kyle Datres.
Jason Morgan and A.J. Bogucki were the two starters. Chris McCue, Josh Hiatt, Zach Rice, Brendon Little, Kyle Datres, Brett Daniels and Hunter Williams threw in relief.
The Tar Heels will scrimmage again on Sunday.
