Hume Earns Outstanding Newcomer At 2016 Rammys

CHAPEL HILL - Tucker Hume, the leading scorer on the 2015 North Carolina men's soccer team, was named Outstanding Male Newcomer of the Year at the 2016 Rammy Awards, the annual celebration to highlight UNC's successes of the past year within the athletic department and beyond.
Hume, the second-leading ACC goal scorer with 11 in 2015, led Carolina with 27 total points to earn third team All-ACC honors in his first season of action in Chapel Hill.
The Tar Heels reached the NCAA's third round for the seventh time in the last eight seasons, and finished the year ranked No. 9 in the nation.
