Mallett Named To WGCA's All-Region Team

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Elizabeth Mallett was named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association Stanford Regional All-Region Team. The All-Region teams are based on the top ten finishers and ties at each of the NCAA Regional Championships. Mallett finished tied for ninth at the Stanford Regional.
Mallett posted a 2-over par aggregate for the tournament to help lead the Tar Heels to a fourth-place finish and qualify for the NCAA Championships. Mallett shot 1-under 70s in the final two rounds.
The Tar Heels will compete at the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships starting on May 20 in Eugene, Ore.
