Murray And Schnur Advance In NCAA Doubles Play

The North Carolina men's tennis doubles team of juniors Jack Murray and Brayden Schnur earned a straight-sets win Thursday in on the opening day of NCAA Doubles Tournament play. The duo beat Zvonimir Babic and Filip Kraljevic of Ole Miss, 6-1, 6-3.
Action in the doubles field, which began with 32 teams, continues on Friday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla. Murray and Schnur, who are ranked No. 27, will face Ohio State's Herkko Pollanen and Mikael Torpegard at 3:30 p.m. Central. The OSU team is ranked No. 22.
