Tar Heels To Learn NCAA Path Today

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The North Carolina men's tennis team, currently ranked No. 3 in the national rankings and among the top 10 all season, will learn its NCAA Championships path Tuesday as the 64-team tournament bracket is announced. The NCAA DI Men's Tennis Selection Show will air at 5:30 p.m. ET on NCAA.com.
First and second round matches will take place at campus sites on May 13-15 and teams that reach the Sweet 16 will converge in Tulsa, Okla., May 19-30 for the team championship, as well as the singles and doubles competitions.
UNC, currently 25-4, has reached the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals in each of the past two years.
Virginia is the defending NCAA champion and has won two of the last three titles. Southern California won in 2014 and also won four in a row between 2009 and 2012. For a list of past champions, click here.
