Meet The Heels Set For Saturday, Aug. 6

The annual “Meet the Heels” event with the Carolina football team is scheduled for August 6 from 4-6 p.m. in Eddie Smith Field House. This year's event is presented by Publix, BCBSNC and Bojangles. This event is free of charge to the general public with free parking available in various campus locations in close proximity on Stadium Drive, Raleigh Road Visitors Lot, Boshamer Lot, Cobb Deck, School of Government Deck and the Bell Tower Deck. Parking will also be available at the Ramshead Deck for $1.50 hour.
During the first hour of the event from 4-5 p.m., the Carolina men's soccer team will be signing autographs along with photo opportunities with mascots, Rameses and RJ. The football team and head coach Larry Fedora will then have an autograph session (limited to one signed item per person) from 5-6 p.m. There will also be activities including balloon twisters, inflatables, Chapel Hill Sportswear merchandise, food trucks (Al's Burgers, Backyard Bistro, Kona Ice, and Ben & Jerry's), and much more. The Carolina Kids Club kickoff celebration will begin at 4 p.m. with the first 200 active Kids Club members receiving a free kid's meal, a Tar Heel drawstring bag and other giveaways. You can still join the Kids Club for the 2016-17 school year starting at only $30 by clicking here.
