Three Tar Heels Win Singles Titles At Bonk Invite

Daavettila, named the top newcomer in the nation earlier this week by the ITA, earned a 6-3, 6-2, win over No. 40 Chalena Scholl of Duke in the white bracket championship match.
No. 31 Aney, the sophomore that earned All-ACC honors last season, defeated No. 43 Anna Danilina of Florida by scores of 7-6 (2), 6-3, in the Gold Bracket.
Graham, another top-rated freshman for Carolina this season, defeated Florida's 27th-ranked Kourtney Keegan in a come-back fashion, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.
In doubles on Saturday, Aney and Graham cruised to the title in the black bracket with an 8-0 blanking of Silvia Fuentes and Yolimar Ogando of Miami.
Carolina returns to the courts at the Furman Fall Classic Sept. 23-25 in Greenville, South Carolina.
