Carolina Scrimmages On Labor Day

Chapel Hill, N.C. - The North Carolina Tar Heels held their third scrimmage of the Fall on Labor Day morning at Boshamer Stadium. Parts of the scrimmage were situational in nature, so there is no official score.
Brandon Martorano had four RBI, including an inside-the-park home run to deep left center field. Brendan Illies was 2-2 with four RBI and a double. Logan Warmoth was 3-3 with with one RBI and a double. Luca Dalatri was 2-4 with two RBI and a double, while Aaron Greenfield was 2-4 at the plate.
The Heels used five pitchers: Robbie Peto and Austin Bergner were the starters with Josh Hiatt, J.T. Rogoszewski and Logan Welch also seeing action.
Carolina will hold its next closed scrimmage on Friday.
