Carolina Hosts Irish Friday On Senior Night

The 2017 regular season comes to a close when No. 3 Carolina hosts 16th-ranked Notre Dame on Friday at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary at 7 p.m.
SENIOR NIGHT
UNC will honor five seniors (Luke Ciocca, Evan Krause, David October, Alan Winn and Zach Wright) before kickoff against the Irish. Carolina has compiled a 57-12-10 overall record and a 21-5-5 ACC record over the last four seasons, won the ACC Coastal Division each of the last three seasons, reached the NCAA Championship three times and advanced to the 2016 College Cup.
FREE ADMISSION
All regular season games hosted this season by North Carolina at WakeMed Soccer Park do not require an admission price. The Tar Heels will not play on campus this season in Chapel Hill while the new soccer and lacrosse field is currently under construction.

SERIES WITH NOTRE DAME
The series between North Carolina and Notre Dame is tied 1-1-2 in four previous head-to-head meetings between two of the most successful men's soccer programs across the collegiate landscape.
LAST TIME OUT
North Carolina secured the ACC Coastal Division crown for the third year in a row after the then fourth-ranked Tar Heels scored four times in the second half of a 4-0 dismantling at Virginia Tech on Sunday afternoon. Zach Wright opened the scoring 70 seconds into the second half. Raul Aguilera, Mauricio Pineda and Cam Lindley followed with a goal apiece in the victory.Â
