Tar Heels Scrimmage On Monday

Chapel Hill, NC- After spending the weekend on the road, the North Carolina Tar Heels returned to Boshamer Stadium for a Monday afternoon scrimmage. Michael Busch's three-run homer in the eighth gave Blue a 6-4 win.
Four players had multiple hit games. Kyle Datres was 2-5 at the plate as was Brian Miller. Adam Pate was 2-3 with a double and a triple, while Logan Warmoth was 2-2 with two walks and two runs scored. Michael Busch was 1-5 with four RBIs and two runs scored.
Taylor Sugg and Tyler Baum were the two starters. Sugg gave up two earned runs on three hits while striking out three in 5.0 innings. Baum gave up three earned runs on four hits while striking out two in 5.0 innings. Brett Daniels, Josh Hiatt, Trevor Gay and Austin Bergner threw in relief.
The Tar Heels will hold their next scrimmage on Tuesday.
