CHAPEL HILL --- Brian Miller had four hits and No. 3 North Carolina improved to 32-9 with an 11-2 win over Elon Tuesday evening at Boshamer Stadium. Brandon Riley clubbed his second three-run homer in as many games in the first and the Tar Heels cruised to their 13th straight victory over the Phoenix.

Miller, Riley, Ashton McGee and Tyler Lynn had multi-hit games for UNC on a night when all nine starters either scored or drove in a run.

Riley's three-run laser in the first off Elon's Owen Lorenz (0-3) put Carolina ahead to stay, but the Tar Heels added three more in the second, two each in the fourth and fifth, and one more in the sixth.

Tyler Baum got the start and allowed two runs on four hits over four innings. Trevor Gay (1-0), Taylor Sugg, Bo Weiss, Zach Attianese and Cole Aker each worked a scoreless inning of relief to close out the win.

McGee, in just his second start of the year at second, made a nice diving grab to go with reaching base in all four plate appearances. Logan Warmoth's third triple of the year highlighted the three-run second inning.

Kyle Jackson reached three times and hit his ninth home run of the year to lead Elon (19-22).

Carolina returns to action Wednesday at 6 p.m. against Campbell.
