CHAPEL HILL --- Logan Warmoth and Zack Gahagan combined for five doubles to lead No. 3 North Carolina to a 7-1 win over Campbell Wednesday night at Boshamer Stadium. Five Tar Heel pitchers teamed up to hold the Camels to one run on three hits as Carolina won its fourth straight game against Campbell.

Carolina (33-9) opened the scoring in the first with an unearned run, but Campbell starter Andrew Witczak (2-4) held his own over the first four innings. The Tar Heels finally got to him for a pair of runs in the fifth on Warmoth's first double of the night, a two-run hit that just caught the foul line in left.

Warmoth's second double plated Brian Miller in a two-run sixth before Gahagan's second two-bagger brought home Tyler Lynn and Kyle Datres to make it 7-0 after 7. Warmoth established a new career high with three doubles thanks to a laser to left center in the eighth.

Campbell (19-23) scored its lone run of the night with two outs in the ninth on Zach Minnick's RBI double off Bo Weiss.

Jason Morgan started for the Tar Heels and allowed just one hit over three innings before Rodney Hutchison Jr. (5-3) and Brett Daniels each worked two scoreless frames. Trevor Gay struck out two in a 1-2-3 eighth, and Weiss got the final three outs to seal the win.

Miller walked three times, scored twice and swiped his team-best 18th base of the year. Cody Roberts threw out a pair of would-be base stealers, including NCAA steals leader Drew Butler.

Carolina will now prepare for one of the showcase series of the year in college baseball when the Tar Heels host No. 3 Clemson for three games starting Friday at 6:30 p.m.
