Carolina-ODU Set For 3:30 Kickoff
June 7, 2017 | Football
The non-conference game between North Carolina and Old Dominion on Sept. 16 in Norfolk, Virginia, will begin at 3:30 p.m. and will be televised by the newly formed Stadium network, Conference USA officials announced Wednesday. The game will be the first in the series to be played at ODU's 20,118-seat Foreman Field.
Stadium is a new, fully programmed, 24/7 multi-platform sports network that brings together exclusive live game and event coverage, extensive highlights, classic games, original programming, and daily live studio programming. Stadium includes a 24/7 linear feed distributed across both digital and broadcast platforms, as well as a comprehensive array of on demand content including additional live events and VOD highlights accessible via owned and operated STADIUM platforms and select distribution partners.
Stadium was formed when Campus Insiders, 120 Sports and The American Sports Network combined forces to take advantage of a combined collection of professional and collegiate rights and unique access to both digital and television distribution opportunities. STADIUM is owned by a collection of industry leaders including Silver Chalice, Sinclair, MLBAM, the NHL, the PGA TOUR, and Time, Inc. and will launch later this Summer 2017.
