Carolina Softball To Host Alumni Weekend Oct. 27-28

CHAPEL HILL – The Carolina Softball staff would like to invite softball alumni from all years to return to Chapel Hill on Oct. 27-28 for alumni weekend. The alumni celebration begins on Friday, Oct. 27, with a private gathering at 7 p.m., then continues on Saturday with an all-alumni softball game.
Friday's alumni gathering will be held at the home of Wayne and Lynne Morrison, parents of Megan Morrison '13. Food and beverages will be provided, as well as a raffle for Carolina Softball gear and memorabilia.
On Saturday, Oct. 28, Carolina will host an alumni softball game, with the odd-year graduates taking on the even-year alumni. Game jerseys will be available for purchase and more Carolina items will be raffled off. Game time is tentatively set for 10:30 a.m., but may be shifted after the UNC vs. Miami football game time is announced. The alumni game will be held at Anderson Stadium and is free and open to the public.
Alumni interested in attending are asked to RSVP by Oct. 13 via email to head coach Donna J. Papa at djp@unc.edu with your name and graduation year as well as names of any accompanying guests.
