Carolina Ranked Ninth In Preseason Inside Lacrosse Poll

Tar Heels picked ninth nationally, third in ACC.
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The University of North Carolina men's lacrosse team checks in at #9 in the Inside Lacrosse Maverik Media poll for the preseason as released on January 29, 2018.
Coach Joe Breschi's defending Atlantic Coast Conference champion Tar Heels, winner of the ACC Tournament in 2013 and 2017 and NCAA Tournament in 2016, is Number 9 in a Top 20 poll chock full of 2018 Tar Heel opponents. Seven of Carolina's 14 games will be against preseason Top 20 and another two against teams receiving votes in the poll.
Carolina is the third-ranked ACC team in the poll behind #1 Duke and #6 Notre Dame. Four schools received votes for first place in the media poll released Tuesday.
