Tar Heels Set For Georgia Tech Invitational

ATLANTA, Ga. — The North Carolina swimming and diving teams are set to compete at the three-day Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta, Ga. on November 15-17. Hosted by Georgia Tech in the McAuley Aquatic Center, preliminaries will be held each morning beginning at 10 a.m. ET while finals for those events will start at 5:30 p.m. ET that same evening.
The meet will be action packed as the Tar Heels take on a total of nine nationally-ranked teams. The North Carolina women, now ranked 19th among NCAA Division I teams, will face No. 10 Florida, No. 12 Auburn, No. 22 Florida State and No. 24 South Carolina as well as Alabama, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, East Carolina and Florida Gulf Coast. UNC's men program also has a challenging field ahead with ranked teams No. 4 Florida, No. 12 Alabama, No. 16 Virginia Tech, No. 19 Florida State and No. 20 Georgia Tech swimming beside them. The men will also face Auburn for the first time this season and they will rematch against the South Carolina and East Carolina men.
