Senior captain Alex Comsia was named one of four defenders to the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week after another commanding shutout performance by the Tar Heel defense. The Heels defeated Virginia Tech 3-0 in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament, the fourth consecutive shutout for Comsia and the defense.

A Senior CLASS Award finalist, Comsia has helped lead the Tar Heels to the top best defense in the country, 0.361 goals per game, by only giving up six goals in 16 matches.

The Tar Heels will be back in action on Wednesday, Nov. 6, as they take on the Duke Blue Devils at WakeMed Soccer Park in the ACC Tournament semifinals. The game will begin at 7 p.m. ET.
