Eleven Tar Heel Men's Lacrosse Games Slated For TV

Four on ESPNU and seven on ACC Network Extra.
GREENSBORO, N.C. - ESPN has announced its broadcast schedule for the 2018 college lacrosse season, and the Atlantic Coast Conference will be prominently featured throughout on ESPNU and ACC Network Extra.
Eleven of the University of North Carolina's 11 regular-season games will be televised either on ESPNU or ACC Network Extra.
Twelve of the 24 overall regular-season broadcasts on ESPNU will feature at least one ACC team, while the ACC Network Extra will carry 30 games. All 10 league matchups will air on either ESPNU or ACC Network Extra, and all three games of the 2018 ACC Men's Lacrosse Championship will air on ESPNU for a total of 45 broadcasts throughout the season.
Carolina's four games on ESPNU include February 23 at Johns Hopkins, March 30 at Duke, April 14 at Syracuse and April 21 versus Notre Dame in Chapel Hill.
Carolina's seven games on ACC Network Extra include February 3 versus Lafayette, February 10 versus Furman, February 17 versus Lehigh, February 28 versus Mercer, March 3 versus St. John's, March 5 versus Denver and April 7 versus Virginia.
All five ACC men's lacrosse teams are ranked in the Inside Lacrosse Preseason Top 20, including No. 1 Duke, No. 6 Notre Dame, No. 9 North Carolina, No. 11 Syracuse and No. 15 Virginia. The Blue Devils (No. 2), Fighting Irish (No. 6), Tar Heels (No. 9) and Orange (No. 10) are also ranked in the USILA/Nike Coaches Poll.
The 2018 season begins on Saturday, February 3, with No. 9/9 North Carolina hosting Lafayette at Noon and No. 1/2 Duke hosting Air Force at 1 p.m. Both games will air on ACC Network Extra.
