#1 Carolina Hosts Michigan Sunday

CHAPEL HILL - No. 1 North Carolina hosts a women's tennis dual match against No. 14 Michigan on Sunday inside Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center at 11 a.m.
The athletic department will have free pizza for fans in attendance, while giveaways will include Carolina tennis t-shirts and a pair of tickets to the men's basketball game versus Miami on Feb. 27.

This is the fourth year in a row these two teams have faced each other. Carolina has won two of the three previous meetings, including a 4-0 result in Chapel Hill last April 6.
North Carolina (10-0) took over the top spot in this week's ITA Team Rankings after winning the 2018 ITA Indoor National Team Championship on Monday, the third indoor national title in program history.Â
Michigan (4-3) will play at Virginia on Friday, before arriving in Chapel Hill for Sunday's tilt. The Wolverines also competed last weekend in the ITA Indoors, finishing 1-2 in the event with a win over host Wisconsin and a pair of losses to #7 Georgia Tech and #12 Auburn.Â
The only other loss this season came against then No. 9 Duke in early February in Ann Arbor.Â
UNC opens Atlantic Coast Conference play by hosting NC State on Wednesday at 3 p.m. The Tar Heels also welcome No. 3 Vanderbilt next Sunday at 1 p.m.
