Carolina And UCF Expand Football Series

CHAPEL HILL --- North Carolina and UCF will play a total of four games over the next eight seasons with the expansion of their non-conference football series that begins with the 2018 home opener at Kenan Stadium.
In addition this fall's matchup on Sept. 15, the Tar Heels will visit Orlando to open the 2020 season. The teams will then meet in consecutive years, with the Knights traveling to Chapel Hill on Sept. 21, 2024, before UNC heads to UCF on Sept. 20, 2025.
The series was initially announced in 2016 as a home-and-home, the first meetings between the two programs.
