Tar Heels Add Midweek Game Against Appalachian State

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — North Carolina has added an April 10 nonconference game against Appalachian State on Tuesday, April 10 at 6 p.m. at Boshamer Stadium in Chapel Hill.
In a series dating back to 1974, this will be the 29th meeting between the Tar Heels and Mountaineers with UNC holding a 25-3 series advantage. Their last meeting occurred in 2015 when Carolina won 9-0.
This nonconference meeting will give the Tar Heels one home match between two ACC weekend series on the road. The Tar Heels will first travel to Miami before returning home for Appalachian State and then take off for Virginia that weekend.
Carolina will be back at the Bosh this weekend as they host Wake Forest. The first game will take place at 6 p.m. ET with the remainder of the series set for Saturday at 4 p.m. ET and Sunday at 1 .m. ET.
