Tar Heels Embark on European Tour

CHAPEL HILL – For the fourth time in program history, North Carolina volleyball will embark on a foreign tour and travel to six European cities in Italy, France and Spain from May 16 through May 28.

The Tar Heels will fly into Milan, Italy before visiting Genova, Italy, Nice, Montpellier and Toulouse in France, and wrapping up the trip in Barcelona, Spain. Carolina will compete in six matches during the 12-day trip.

May 16: Depart for Italy
May 17: Arrive in Milan
May 18: Sightseeing in Milan (match 1)
May 19: Lake Como (match 2)
May 20: Genova (match 3)
May 21: Nice, France
May 22: Montpellier, France
May 23: Toulouse, France
May 24-25: Matches 4 & 5 in Toulouse, France
May 26: Travel to Barcelona, Spain
May 27: Barcelona, Spain (match 6)
May 28: Depart for USA
