CHAPEL HILL—Students at the University of North Carolina are wrapping up their spring semester final exams this week, putting the finishing touches on the 2017-18 academic year. At the Smith Center, former Tar Heel players now playing professionally have started to trickle back for pickup games, offseason training and workouts in the weight room with strength and conditioning coordinator Jonas Sahratian.
While things are quieter on the Carolina Basketball front as the temperatures rise, here's some of the Tar Heel news that may have slipped through the cracks of late.
1. NEWS & NOTES
• Tar Heel legend Phil Ford is scheduled to deliver a pair of basketball workshops in Chapel Hill on Saturday. Chapelboro.com has more information.
