Incoming UNC freshmen Rechon "Leaky" Black, Nassir Little and Coby White arrived on campus this week in preparation to begin classes next week in the second session of summer school in Chapel Hill.

• With the Tar Heel baseball team in action in Omaha and his brother, Cole, a member of defending NCAA champion Florida's team, senior Luke Maye had some admittedly split allegiances at the College World Series earlier this week.
• White earned all-tournament honors and won a gold medal with the United States U18 National Team last weekend in Canada:

3. 2018-19 SEASON TIDBITS
• ESPN.com's Myron Medcalf wondered if the Tar Heels will play more small ball next season.
• Another very early Top 25 includes Carolina in the top 10.
4. TAR HEELS IN THE PROS
• The 2018 NBA Draft is Thursday night, and Theo Pinson worked out recently for the Indiana Pacers.
• Pinson fits in the NBA as a point guard, Williams suggests in the Burlington Times-News.
• The Chicago Bulls noted the anniversary of drafting Michael Jordan earlier this week. Pretty good draft decision:
