Tar Heels Resume Scrimmages On Thursday

Chapel Hill, NC - After not scrimmaging last weekend due to the weather, the North Carolina Tar Heels resumed their Fall scrimmages on a hot afternoon at a sunny Boshamer Stadium with the Blue squad taking a 6-2 win over Navy. Due to technical problems a box is not yet available so there is limited information. More information will be available on Friday.
Ike Freeman and Josh Ladowski both homered, and Jackson Hesterlee had a double.
Eight pitchers saw action. Nik Pry and Connor Ollio both started, with Andrew Grogan, Kyle Blendinger, Davis Palermo, Hansen Butler, Josh Dotson and Casey Maniglia also seeing action on the mound.
Carolina will next scrimmage on Friday afternoon.
