• This was Carolina's first home loss in eight games this season.
• This was the largest home loss in 16 seasons under Roy Williams. The previous was a 69-53 loss to Duke on 3/9/2013.
• This was the largest home loss since 1/31/2002, an 87-58 loss to Duke.

• Kenny Williams led UNC in scoring for the first time this season. His 12 points match the dozen scored by Coby White at Michigan for the fewest points by Carolina's leading scorer in any game this season.
