• Louisville made 11 three-pointers, which tied the most by an opponent this year (11 in losses to Texas and Michigan).

Tar Heel Player Notes
• Luke Maye led UNC with 11 rebounds. It was the third straight game and fourth in five games he had 10 or more rebounds.
• Cameron Johnson had 10 points, the 15th time in 16 games this year he scored in double figures, but didn't make a three for the first time this season.
• Kenny Williams led UNC in scoring for the first time this season. His 12 points match the dozen scored by Coby White at Michigan for the fewest points by Carolina's leading scorer in any game this season.
