Carolina Notes
• Carolina is 13-4 overall, 3-1 in the ACC and 8-1 at home this season
• Carolina out-scored the Irish, 12-1, in a 5:35 span in the second half. Notre Dame led 58-57 before the Tar Heels went on the 12-1 run. Freshmen Coby White (5) and Nassir Little (5) accounted for 10 of the 12 Tar Heel points.
• Carolina shot 39.7 percent from the floor. It's the first time this season UNC won when shooting under 40 percent from the floor.Â
• Carolina has shot under 40 percent in each of the last two games and under 50 percent in the last seven since the win over Gonzaga.
• The teams combined for just three turnovers in the second half – two by the Tar Heels and one by the Irish.
• Carolina is 4-0 this season after losses.
• Carolina's first-half points per possession of .75 (33 points on 44 possessions) was its third-worst in a half this season. In the second half, UNC scored 42 points on 44 possessions (.95).

Tar Heel Player Notes
• Coby White led UNC in scoring (17) for the fifth time this season and second time in four ACC games.
• White was 4 for 7 from three (had made one in the previous two games).
• Nassir Little scored all 11 of his points in the second half. It's the most points in a half by Little since he had all 11 of his points in the second half against Texas on 11/22.
• Luke Maye had his seventh double-double of the season (25th career) with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
• Cameron Johnson did not make a three-pointer for the second game in a row but scored in double figures for the 16th time in 17 games this season with 11 points. He added seven rebounds and had a season-high six assists. He had six assists twice last season (career high is seven at Pitt).
• Brandon Robinson set a career high with three three-point field goals, all in the first half. He had made two on three previous occasions.
• Robinson is 11 of 21 from 3FG this season, including 6 of 8 in the last four games.
• Garrison Brooks tied his career high with five offensive rebounds.
