ITA Kickoff Weekend Schedule

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The North Carolina men's tennis team will host ITA Kickoff Weekend matches Friday and Saturday, with No. 30 Duke, No. 43 Middle Tennessee and No. 46 Utah visiting Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.

All matches will be played on the indoor courts and there is no charge for admission.

Duke and Middle Tennessee face off Friday at 10 a.m., and the sixth-ranked Tar Heels (2-0) take on Utah at 1:30 p.m. The losing teams will play in the consolation match Saturday at 3:30 p.m., and Friday's winners will play at 6:30 in the championship. The Chapel Hill champion moves on to the ITA National Team Indoor Championship in Chicago Feb. 15-18.

UNC is one of six sites hosting both men's and women's matches. The third-ranked Tar Heel women will host No. 50 Princeton, No. 61 Michigan State and No. 67 VCU. The first match is Saturday at 9 a.m. (Princeton vs. MSU) and Carolina plays VCU at noon. The women's consolation is Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and the championship follows at 1 p.m.
