• The win was the 211th ACC win for head coach Roy Williams. He is third all-time behind Mike Krzyzewski and Dean Smith. Gary Williams is next with 210.

• Roy Williams has 186 regular season ACC wins and 25 ACC Tournament wins.

• Carolina has made 29 three-pointers in the last two games, most in UNC history in consecutive games (16 vs. Virginia Tech and 13 at Georgia Tech).

• The previous record for three-pointers in consecutive games was 27 in 1994-95 (10 in Greensboro vs. Virginia Tech on 1/21/95 and a school-record 17 at home vs. Florida State on 1/25/95).

• UNC's previous high for three-pointers in consecutive games under Roy Williams was 25 twice (10 vs. Long Beach State and 15 vs. Mississippi State in 2012-13 season and 16 vs. Maryland and nine vs. Virginia in the 2008-09 season).

• Coby White tied his season high with eight assists (third time) and made five three-pointers en route to 19 points. It was the third time this season he made five threes – seven vs. Texas and five in UNC's previous game against Virginia Tech.

• Cameron Johnson led UNC with a game-high 22 points. It was the ninth time this year he led the team in scoring and his sixth 20-point game of the season.

• Johnson made 8 of 10 shots from the floor, a season-best percentage of .800. He also made eight field goals earlier this year against Gonzaga and Miami.

• Carolina is now 4-0 on the road in ACC play this season. That's the first time in 11 seasons and the second time under Roy Williams UNC is 4-0 in ACC road games (8-0 on the road in the ACC in 2007-08).

• Williams is now 83-47 all-time in ACC road games. His winning percentage of .638 is the second-best in ACC history and the 83 wins are the third most all-time.

• Carolina scored 24 fastbreak points, second most this season (29 vs. Tennessee Tech).

• Carolina scored a season-low one second-chance point (previous low was eight vs. Davidson).

• Carolina is 9-0 this season when the opponents commit more turnovers. Tech had 16, UNC 15 tonight.

• The Tar Heels scored 20 points off turnovers, the second game in a row UNC scored 20 or more points off turnovers.

• Carolina held Tech to 35 percent shooting from the floor, the fifth time this season an opponent shot 35 percent or lower. UNC is 9-0 when the opponents shoot under 40 percent this season.

• The Tar Heels shot 53.1 percent from the floor in the second half. UNC has shot 60.0, 60.6 and now 53.1 percent in the second half in the last three games.

• Carolina is 69-25 all-time against Georgia Tech, including 22-14 in Atlanta (16-12 at Alexander Memorial Coliseum/McCamish Pavilion). The Tar Heels are now 4-1 against the Yellow Jackets since the arena was renovated and named McCamish Pavilion.
