Season Ticket Sales On The Rise As Individual Tickets Set To Go On Sale
October 2, 2019 | Men's Basketball
CHAPEL HILL—Carolina men's basketball season ticket sales have already exceeded last year's total as the ticket office prepares to put single-game, five-game mini plans and the exhibition game on sale.
The Tar Heels will play 10 Atlantic Coast Conference and four non-conference opponents at the Dean E. Smith Center, in addition to the Nov. 1 exhibition against Winston-Salem State.
Mini-plans and tickets for the Winston-Salem State game will go on sale a week from today on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Mini plans are packages in which fans select five games (except the Dec. 15 game against Wofford and the Feb. 8 game vs. Duke).
Single-game sales start Thursday, Oct. 17.
The regular-season opener is November 6, an ACC matchup against Notre Dame. Carolina is one ACC victory from becoming the first school in conference history to win 700 regular-season ACC games.
The Smith Center will be the place to be on Saturdays in January and early February as UNC plays host to six ACC games on Saturdays, beginning with Georgia Tech on Jan. 4, Carolina's first game of 2020. The Tar Heels also play host to Clemson (Jan. 11), Miami (Jan. 25), Boston College (Feb. 1), Duke (Feb. 8) and Virginia (Feb. 15) on Saturdays.
Senior night is March 3 vs. Wake Forest.
Carolina's non-conference schedule at the Smith Center includes a pair of in-state opponents in Gardner-Webb (Nov. 15) and Elon (Nov. 20) and Ohio State in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge (Dec. 4).
In addition, the 2019-20 Tar Heel Package is on sale. Each Tar Heel Pack includes a ticket to every regular season home game with the exception of the Wofford and Duke games. To purchase, visit HERE.
