Peck Advances To Semifinals At ITA Regional

CARY, N.C.—North Carolina's Josh Peck won his fourth and fifth consecutive matches at the ITA Carolina Regional, advancing to the main draw semifinals with a pair of wins on Sunday.
Peck moved into the quarterfinals with a 6-3,6-2 win over NC State's Yannai Barkai in the round of 16 on Sunday morning. Later on Sunday, he beat sixth-seeded Raphael Lambling 6-4, 6-2. Peck will play on Monday at 10 a.m. in the semifinals versus top-seeded Bar Botzer of Wake Forest.
Tar Heels Mac Kiger and Simon Soendergaard advanced to the doubles quarterfinals with a 6-2, 5-7, 10-3 win in the third round. Fellow UNC doubles team Ladd Harrison and Mark Dillon fell in the third round to Labbe/Tamagnone 6-3, 1-6, 10-7.
Kiger and Soendergaard will play in the quarterfinals on Monday morning against Clemson's Diaz Friere/Liu.
