Andrzejewski Named ACC Offensive Player Of The Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) --- North Carolina senior forward Bridgette Andrzejewski has been named Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while Virginia Tech senior goalkeeper Mandy McGlynn has been tabbed ACC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Andrzejewski scored the game-winning goal in the 55th minute as No. 3 North Carolina defeated No. 8 Clemson 1-0 last Sunday. The Lutherville, Maryland, native tallied the goal on a diving header off an assist by Lotte Wubben-Moy.
It was Andrzejewski's fifth goal of the season and third game-winning goal, including the game-winner in two straight ACC games (previous Sunday against Notre Dame). She ranks second on the UNC team in points with 15, third in goals with five and tied for second in assists with five.
