Brandon Robinson Out With Sprained Right Ankle

CHAPEL HILL – University of North Carolina senior guard Brandon Robinson suffered a sprained right ankle during Friday's exhibition game vs. Winston-Salem State.
X-rays taken on Saturday were negative for a fracture. There is no timetable for his return.
Robinson was injured with 12:19 to play in the first half after he blocked a fast break attempt. He left the game and did not return. The Douglasville, Ga., native had scored eight points before leaving the contest.
Carolina opens the regular season on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at home against Notre Dame.
