Carolina Notes
• 5-0 start for the fourth year in a row and eighth time in 17 seasons under Roy Williams.
• Fifth time in as many games UNC has scored less than 80 points, the first time that has happened to begin a season in the Roy Williams Era.
• Carolina out-rebounded Alabama by 29 (60-31). UNC came into the game first in the nation in rebound margin at plus 19.5 per game.
• The 60 rebounds are a season high.
• Carolina has 50 or more rebounds in four of the first five games this season.
• Carolina had as many offensive rebounds (23) as Alabama had defensive (23).
• Carolina grabbed a season-high 23 offensive rebounds and scored a season-high 23 second-chance points.
• The Tar Heels had a 23-7 edge in offensive rebounds, including 17-5 in the second half.
• UNC committed a season-high 20 turnovers that led to 17 Alabama points.

Tar Heel Player Notes
• Garrison Brooks tied his career high with 20 points (also at Wofford in the season opener a year ago).
• Brooks scored 16 points in the first half, most he has scored in any half as a Tar Heel (13 in first half at Wofford).
• Armando Bacot posted his third straight double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds. He is the third Tar Heel freshman with three straight double-doubles – with Mike O'Koren in 1976-77 and Antawn Jamison in 1995-96.
• Bacot scored all 12 of his points in the second half.
• Bacot had a season-high six offensive rebounds. Those six rebounds led to eight Tar Heel points.
• The 15 rebounds are the most by a Tar Heel this season. He had 14 in the previous game vs. Elon.
• The 15 rebounds are the most by a UNC freshman since Harrison Barnes had 16 vs. LIU in 2011.
• Bacot is the eighth Tar Heel freshman with 15 or more rebounds in a game.
• Senior Brandon Robinson played for the first time this season and scored a career-high 12 points. His previous was 11 against Saint Francis (Pa.) on 11/19/2018. It was his third career game in double figures.
• Sophomore Leaky Black had career highs in points (9) and rebounds (9). Previous highs were eight points and seven rebounds.
