Carolina Notes
• First loss of the season drops Carolina to 5-1
• Michigan out-scored the Tar Heels, 21-2, to begin the second half to extend a five-point Wolverine lead at the half to 24, UNC's largest deficit of the season
• Carolina pulled within eight at 61-69 and had three field goal attempts with less than two minutes to play to get closer, but missed all three...Michigan's Eli Brooks then hit one of his four three-pointers to make it 72-61 Michigan with 1:12 to play.
• Scored a season-low 64 points and allowed a season-high 73
• Made a season-low two three-pointers (both by Cole Anthony)...previous low was three vs. Elon
• Shot a season-low 50 percent from the free throw line (10 of 20) and season-low 15.4 percent from three (2 of 13)
• Out-rebounded Michigan, 36-34, but the margin was the lowest of the season (came into the game averaging 21.4 more rebounds)
• Season-low eight assists (only three players had assists)
• Forced a season-high 16 turnovers and scored a season-high 21 points off Michigan turnovers
• Allowed a season-high 50 percent shooting from the floor (28 of 56)
• Third straight game the opponents made 10 or more threes (12 by Elon, 11 by Alabama, 11 by Michigan)
• Michigan blocked seven shots, most against UNC this season
• Drops to 3-2 all-time in The Bahamas

• Anthony led UNC with 22 points, his fourth 20-point game
• Brandon Robinson led UNC with four assists, which equaled his career high and was the second time in his career he led UNC in assists
