Anthony On Watch List For NABC Player Of The Year

CHAPEL HILL – The National Association of Basketball Coaches on Monday announced its preseason watch list for the 2020 NABC Division I Player of the Year award, and University of North Carolina freshman Cole Anthony made the 20-player list.

Earlier on Monday, Anthony also grabbed a spot on the watch list for the Naismith Trophy.

The 2020 NABC Division I Player of the Year award will be announced on Sunday, April 5 at the AT&T NABC Guardians of the Game Awards Show in Atlanta, Ga. – site of the 2020 NCAA Final Four.

Headlining the preseason watch list are 2018-19 NABC Second Team All-Americans Cassius Winston of Michigan State and Markus Howard of Marquette. Kansas, represented by guard Devon Dotson and center Udoka Azubuike, is the only school with multiple players on the watch list.
