Carolina Notes
• Tar Heels drop their third straight game and are 6-4 overall.
• UNC's first three-game losing streak since January 22 (at Virginia Tech), January 27 (NC State) and January 30 (at Clemson), 2018.
• UNC has not lost four in a row since January-February 2010.
• UNC has lost consecutive home games for the first time since 2015 (NC State and Duke).
• Carolina played without two starters – point guard and leading scorer Cole Anthony (right knee) and small forward (and backup point guard) Leaky Black (right foot).
• This was the first time Carolina lost after leading at the half (36-32) in 32 such instances.
• Carolina is now 170-21 at Carmichael Auditorium/Arena. This was UNC's first regular-season loss at Carmichael since 1/27/1985 against Georgia Tech.
• Carolina scored only four points off five Wofford turnovers (first time less than five points off turnovers since scoring three against Virginia in the 2018 ACC final in Brooklyn).
• Carolina was minus 11 in points off turnovers (4-15), matching the largest deficit of the season (7-18 in the win over Notre Dame in the opener).
• It was the fourth game in a row UNC allowed more points off turnovers than it scored (scored 32, allowed 55 in those four games).
• Carolina shot 36.5 percent from the floor (third time in as many games and fourth time this season UNC shot under 40 percent).
Tar Heel Player Notes
• Garrison Brooks had his second career double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds (also a double-double at UNCW on 11/8).
• Brandon Robinson scored a career-high 16 points, had a career-high five assists and tied his career high with three three-pointers (fourth time in his career, third time this season with three 3FGs).
• Armando Bacot had game-high 13 rebounds, the fifth time he has pulled down 10 or more rebounds. His eight offensive rebounds were a season high.
• K.J. Smith started at the point in place of Anthony and scored seven points with four assists and three rebounds. He played 25 minutes and 47 seconds (played 22 in eight games this season before today).
• Smith's seven points and four assists are his top totals as a Tar Heel.
• Christian Keeling scored eight points and grabbed a season-high nine rebounds.
• Freshman Jeremiah Francis had three assists in 15:37, his most extensive action since his sophomore year of high school in 2016-17.
• Francis and freshman Anthony Harris combined to play over 26 minutes. They've played in the last two games after missing the first eight due to knee injuries they suffered in high school.
• Andrew Platek made two three-pointers. They were his first threes since the third game of the season and his first multi-three game since he hit two against Notre Dame in the opener.
