• The 38-point margin of victory is the largest in series history. Carolina had won by 37 two previous times (100-63 on 1/25/1984 and 104-67 on 2/10/2007).
• It is also the largest ACC road win in UNC history (previous 34 at Virginia Tech om 12/19/2004 and at Virginia on 1/29/2005).

• Carolina made 16 three-pointers, which ties the season high (also vs. Virginia Tech) and equals the second most in UNC history.
• This was the fifth time this season UNC has made 13 or more threes in a game.
• Carolina shot a season-high 62.3 percent from the floor (previous high was 56.1 in the home win over NC State). It was the highest since UNC shot 65.5 percent against Tulane last season.
• Carolina made 16 of 25 three-pointers to shoot 64 percent, which ties the third-highest percentage in a game in UNC history and is the highest in any road game in UNC history.

• In the first half, Carolina shot a season-high (for a half) 74.1 percent from the floor to build a 49-21 lead. The 28-point margin was Carolina's largest halftime lead of the season (previous 26 vs. Stanford).
• It was Carolina's best shooting in a half since shooting 78.1 percent in the second half at NC State on 2/10/2018.
• Carolina scored the game's first 18 points. It was the second time this year UNC jumped out to at least a 12-0 lead in an ACC road game (also 12-0 at NC State).
• In the first half, UNC scored 49 points on 38 possessions (1.29), while the Deacons scored 21 points on 43 possessions (.49).
• Carolina had 21 assists, the 13th time this season the Tar Heels have assisted on 20 or more field goals. UNC is 13-0 when it has 20 or more assists.

Tar Heel Notes
• Cameron Johnson led all scorers with 27 points, his seventh 20-point game of the season and the 10th time he led UNC in scoring.
• Johnson set a career high with seven three-pointers (he made six five previous times).
• UNC is 18-2 when Johnson makes multiple threes and 11-0 when he makes at least three in a game this season.
• Johnson has made 230 career threes – 116 in three seasons at Pitt and 114 in 51 games in the last two seasons as a Tar Heel. Only three Tar Heels ever made more threes in a career (he passed Wayne Ellington, who made 229).
• Johnson is 67 of 140 from three this year, a percentage of .479 that is third best in UNC single-season history (behind Dante Calabria's .496 in 1995 and Hubert Davis's .489 in 1991).
• Coby White led UNC with six assists. UNC is now 11-1 this season when he leads the team in assists.
• Luke Maye had a game-high seven rebounds (also with Brooks). Maye has surpassed 800 career rebounds (has 806). He is one shy of tying Jason Capel for 20th all-time at Carolina.
